Job Description

  • Receive, label, and document tissue specimens accurately.
  • Process tissue samples for histopathological examination, including fixation, dehydration, embedding, and sectioning.
  • Prepare and stain slides using routine and special staining techniques.
  • Assist pathologists in microscopic examination and diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as microtomes and staining equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of specimens, slides, and test results.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, infection control, and biohazard handling guidelines.
