Job Description
- Receive, label, and document tissue specimens accurately.
- Process tissue samples for histopathological examination, including fixation, dehydration, embedding, and sectioning.
- Prepare and stain slides using routine and special staining techniques.
- Assist pathologists in microscopic examination and diagnostic procedures.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as microtomes and staining equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of specimens, slides, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, infection control, and biohazard handling guidelines.
