Job Description
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory disorders.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and nebulizers.
- Monitor patients’ oxygen levels, breathing patterns, and vital signs.
- Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling (as per protocol).
- Support doctors and respiratory therapists during emergency and ICU procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
- Educate patients and families on the use of respiratory devices and home care techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.
