Job Description

  • Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients with respiratory disorders.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators, oxygen therapy devices, and nebulizers.
  • Monitor patients’ oxygen levels, breathing patterns, and vital signs.
  • Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling (as per protocol).
  • Support doctors and respiratory therapists during emergency and ICU procedures.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
  • Educate patients and families on the use of respiratory devices and home care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.
