- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the ICU unit.
- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients and ensure quality treatment.
- Allocate duties, prepare duty rosters, and guide ICU nursing staff.
- Monitor ventilated patients, vital parameters, and critical care equipment.
- Handle ICU emergencies and lead code blue / resuscitation procedures.
- Coordinate with intensivists, consultants, and other departments for patient care.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain ICU documentation, census, audits, and compliance with NABH standards.
