Job Description

• Identify, track, and maintain a database of diverse funding opportunities (domestic and international), including maintenance of a grants calendar and submission deadlines.
• Develop grant materials, including proposals, concept notes, EOIs, ensuring alignment with donor priorities, as well as translation of programmatic work into impactful narratives, in consultation with the team.
• Collaborate with programme, finance, and technical teams to create budgets.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international donor guidelines, formatting requirements, eligibility criteria.
• Support the preparation of grant reports, including narrative sections, in coordination with programme teams.
• Proofread and copyedit Centre’s materials (reports, briefs, proposals, newsletters, website and communication content), ensuring grammatical accuracy, structural coherence, logical flow, and fact-checking figures, citations, and references.
• Ensure consistency in tone, voice, terminology, and style across all documents in alignment with (or through development of) the organization’s style guide.
• Provide light editing, identify and flag structural or content gaps, and support the creation and maintenance of an organizational style guide where needed.
• Any other task assigned by the Supervisor/ Project PI.
