Job Description

Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Arrange surgical instruments, equipment, consumables, and sterile supplies according to the procedure.
Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and aseptic handling of surgical instruments and equipment.
Check the functionality and availability of OT equipment before procedures.
Assist with patient positioning, transfer, and preparation for surgery under nursing/clinical supervision.
Handle surgical instruments and supplies safely during procedures.
Maintain proper counts of instruments, needles, swabs, and other surgical items as per OT protocols.
Assist in emergency surgeries and maintain readiness of OT facilities.
Clean, disinfect, and prepare the OT after each procedure.
