Job Description
- Assist gastroenterologists during endoscopic procedures (upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, etc.).
- Prepare and check endoscopy equipment before procedures.
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopes and accessories.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide basic instructions.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Maintain procedure records and documentation.
- Handle biopsy samples and ensure proper labeling and transfer.
