Job Description

1. Diagnose and surgically treat diseases related to gastrointestinal tract (esophagus, stomach, intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder).
2. Perform major and minor GI surgeries (laparoscopic & open procedures).
3. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
4. Handle emergency GI cases (intestinal obstruction, perforation, GI bleeding).
5. Conduct OPD consultations and ward rounds.
6. Coordinate with gastroenterologists, anesthetists, and ICU team.
7. Maintain surgical documentation and discharge summaries.
8. Ensure adherence to infection control and hospital protocols.
