Job Description
- Diagnose and treat diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system.
- Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations for GI disorders.
- Perform endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and ERCP (if trained).
- Manage conditions like liver disease, hepatitis, pancreatitis, IBS, IBD, GERD, and GI bleeding.
- Interpret diagnostic investigations including endoscopy findings, imaging, and lab reports.
- Handle emergency cases such as GI bleed and acute abdominal conditions.
- Coordinate with surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and NABH standards.
