- Collect, label, and process blood and blood components from donors.
- Perform blood grouping, cross-matching, and compatibility testing.
- Screen blood for infectious diseases and maintain quality control standards.
- Operate and maintain blood bank equipment, including centrifuges and refrigerators.
- Prepare blood components like plasma, platelets, and packed red cells as per protocols.
- Maintain accurate donor records, inventory, and blood issue logs.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and transportation of blood and blood products.
