Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Surgical Oncologist to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cancer while providing high-quality medical care and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for effective treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

Surgical Oncologist:--

1. Surgical Removal: Performs operations to remove solid tumors, surrounding tissues, and affected lymph nodes.
2. Biopsies & Diagnostics: Conducts surgical biopsies (e.g., excisional, incisional, or needle-assisted) to diagnose, stage, and grade tumors.
3. Minimally Invasive Procedures: Utilizes robotic, laparoscopic, or endoscopic techniques to remove tumors with faster recovery times.
4. Palliative Surgery: Performs procedures to relieve pain, clear blockages, or manage complications caused by advanced tumors.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Qualification: MBBS + MD/MS/MCh in the relevant Oncology specialty.
2. Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council.
3. Relevant experience as an Oncologist / Consultant Oncologist preferred.
4. Strong clinical, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team.
