Job Description
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and respiratory function, and respond to changes promptly.
- Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, such as ventilators and monitors, ensuring proper functionality.
- Perform assessments to evaluate patients' conditions and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
- Assist in emergency procedures such as resuscitation, intubation, and stabilization.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including observations, interventions, and outcomes.
- Educate patients' families about the care process, treatment goals, and ways to support recovery.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control practices and maintain a sterile environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on critical care protocols and technologies.
