- Ensure safe and rational use of blood and blood products.
- Supervise donor screening, counseling, and blood donation camps.
- Perform and interpret blood grouping, cross-matching, and compatibility testing.
- Prepare and manage blood components such as PRBC, FFP, platelets, and cryoprecipitate.
- Monitor and investigate transfusion reactions and hemovigilance cases.
- Maintain compliance with NACO, NABH, and regulatory guidelines.
