Job Description

  1. Assess, triage, and provide immediate medical care to patients in the emergency department.
  2. Manage medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies including resuscitation and stabilization.
  3. Perform and supervise emergency procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, suturing, and defibrillation.
  4. Monitor critically ill patients and coordinate transfers to ICU, OT, or specialty units.
  5. Guide and supervise junior residents, interns, and nursing staff during emergency care.
  6. Maintain accurate emergency case records, medico-legal documentation, and discharge summaries.
  7. Coordinate with consultants and other departments for timely patient management.
  8. Follow emergency protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
