Job Description

  1. Manage critically ill patients in ICU under consultant guidance.
  2. Perform detailed patient assessment, monitoring, and daily progress notes.
  3. Handle airway management, intubation, and ventilator support.
  4. Manage emergencies and participate in Code Blue situations.
  5. Insert and manage arterial lines, central venous lines, and other ICU procedures.
  6. Interpret ABG, ECG, imaging, and laboratory reports.
  7. Assist in sepsis management, shock management, and organ support.
  8. Coordinate with nursing staff and allied departments.
  9. Communicate patient updates to consultants and families.
  10. Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety norms.
  11. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  12. Participate in clinical audits, teaching, and academic activities.
