Job Description
- Provide round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients in wards and ICU.
- Assess patients, take medical history and perform physical examinations.
- Monitor patient condition and report any deterioration to senior doctors.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide immediate life-saving treatment.
- Write prescriptions, order investigations and review reports.
- Perform basic medical procedures and assist consultants in advanced care.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records, progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment plans and hospital procedures.
