Job Description

1. Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
2. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support.
3. Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
4. Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas sampling (as per protocol).
5. Assist in airway management, including suctioning and emergency procedures.
6. Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes to the medical team.
7. Maintain and calibrate respiratory care equipment.
8. Educate patients and caregivers on breathing exercises and respiratory care.
