Job Description
- Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support.
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation.
- Perform pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas sampling (as per protocol).
- Assist in airway management, including suctioning and emergency procedures.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and report changes to the medical team.
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory care equipment.
- Educate patients and caregivers on breathing exercises and respiratory care.
