Job Description
- Diagnose and treat respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and interstitial lung diseases.
- Manage critically ill patients with respiratory failure in ICU settings.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests like pulmonary function tests (PFT), chest X-rays, CT scans, and arterial blood gases (ABG).
- Conduct procedures such as bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and pleural biopsies (if trained).
- Manage ventilator support and non-invasive ventilation (NIV).
- Treat sleep-related breathing disorders like sleep apnea.
