Job Overview

A leading multi-specialty hospital in Roorkee, Uttarakhand is seeking a dedicated, highly skilled, and compassionate Pulmonologist to lead our Respiratory and Chest Medicine department. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage complex pulmonary conditions, oversee critical respiratory care in the ICU, and provide top-tier clinical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and treat complex acute and chronic respiratory disorders, including Asthma, COPD, Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), Tuberculosis, Respiratory Failure, and Sleep Apnea.
2. Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as Bronchoscopy, Spirometry / Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), Thoracentesis, and Pleural Biopsy.
3. Manage critical care and life support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation management.
4. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (Cardiology, Oncology, General Medicine) to formulate holistic patient care plans.
5. Conduct OPD consultations, ward rounds, and emergency call-outs as required.
6. Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and rehabilitation therapies.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Experience: 0 to 5+ years of clinical experience (Freshers with strong clinical background are welcome to apply).
2. Licensing: Valid Registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Uttarakhand Medical Council.
3. Skills: Strong diagnostic expertise, proficiency in interventional pulmonology procedures, excellent emergency response skills, and effective patient communication.

Salary & Compensation

1. Salary: ₹2,000,000 – ₹3,600,000 Per Annum (Negotiable based on qualification and experience).
