Job Description

  1. Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill infants and children in PICU.
  2. Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythm, oxygen saturation, and neurological status.
  3. Assist pediatricians and intensivists during emergency procedures and interventions.
  4. Administer IV medications, fluids, blood products, and nutrition as prescribed.
  5. Operate and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, and other life-support equipment.
  6. Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques in the PICU.
  7. Educate and support parents regarding child’s condition and treatment plan.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care.
