Job Description

  1. Plan and execute purchase of medicines, surgical items, and pharmacy consumables.
  2. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, price comparison, and negotiations.
  3. Prepare purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of stock.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  5. Maintain records of invoices, GRN (Goods Received Note), and purchase documentation.
  6. Ensure medicines are purchased as per hospital formulary and quality standards.
  7. Track expiry, batch details, and ensure proper inward process.
  8. Coordinate with Pharmacy Incharge, store department, and accounts team for smooth workflow.
