- Operate heart-lung machines and other extracorporeal circulation equipment during cardiac surgeries.
- Monitor and manage patient’s physiological parameters such as blood flow, oxygenation, and temperature.
- Prepare and prime the cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) circuit before surgery.
- Administer anticoagulants and manage hemodynamic support during procedures.
- Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff.
- Respond promptly to any complications or emergencies during surgery.
