Job Description
- Operate and monitor the heart-lung (cardiopulmonary bypass) machine during cardiac surgeries.
- Manage extracorporeal circulation, ensuring adequate oxygenation and blood flow.
- Monitor patient parameters such as blood pressure, oxygen levels, blood gases, and temperature.
- Administer medications, blood products, and anesthetic agents as required during procedures.
- Assist cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists during open-heart surgeries.
- Set up, test, and maintain perfusion equipment before and after procedures.
