Job Description
- Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders related to the eyes and vision.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and evaluate patient medical histories.
- Diagnose conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, refractive errors, retinal disorders, and infections.
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other treatments to improve vision and eye health.
- Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures such as cataract surgery and minor eye surgeries when required.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as visual field tests, OCT, and other ophthalmic investigations.
- Provide preventive eye care and educate patients about eye health and disease prevention.
