Job Description

  1. Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns.
  2. Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and temperature of neonates continuously.
  3. Assist neonatologists during procedures such as intubation, ventilation, and resuscitation.
  4. Administer medications, IV fluids, and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) as prescribed.
  5. Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and infusion pumps.
  6. Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
  7. Educate parents regarding newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge instructions.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation of neonatal assessments and treatment plans.
