Job Description
- Prepare operation theatre for neurosurgical procedures.
- Arrange and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist surgeons during brain and spine surgeries as a scrub nurse.
- Maintain sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.
- Anticipate surgeon’s needs and pass instruments accordingly.
- Perform surgical counts (instruments, sponges, needles) before and after surgery.
- Handle specialized neurosurgical instruments and equipment.
