Job Description
- Diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the kidneys and urinary system.
- Manage conditions such as chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and hypertension-related kidney disease.
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including blood tests, urine analysis, kidney imaging, and biopsies.
- Prescribe medications, dialysis, and lifestyle modifications for kidney health management.
- Provide care for patients on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
- Manage kidney transplant patients in collaboration with surgeons and transplant teams.
