Job Description

1. Dispense medications for admitted (in-patient) cases as per physician orders.
2. Review medication charts for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
3. Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication changes and STAT orders.
4. Ensure timely supply of medicines to wards, ICU, OT, and emergency units.
5. Maintain proper documentation of high-risk, narcotic, and controlled drugs.
6. Monitor stock levels in ward pharmacies and maintain buffer inventory.
7. Verify IV medications, dilution instructions, and infusion rates when required.
8. Follow hospital protocols, NABH standards (if applicable), and infection control guidelines.
