Job Responsibilities – Interventional Cardiologist

1. Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases.
2. Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as Coronary Angiography (CAG), Angioplasty (PTCA/PCI), Stent Placement, IVUS, OCT, and FFR.
3. Manage emergency cardiac cases, including Acute Myocardial Infarction (Heart Attack) and Primary PCI.
4. Interpret ECG, Echocardiography, Stress Test, Holter, and cardiac imaging reports.
5. Evaluate patients before, during, and after interventional procedures.
6. Provide OPD, IPD, ICU, and Cath Lab patient care.
7. Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient management.
8. Ensure accurate medical documentation and maintain procedure records.
9. Follow hospital protocols, quality standards, and patient safety guidelines.
10. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
11. Participate in on-call duties and manage cardiac emergencies as required.
12. Stay updated with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology and evidence-based practices.
