Job Description
- Develop, implement & monitor infection control policies and SOPs.
- Conduct hospital infection surveillance and report HAIs.
- Train healthcare staff on infection prevention practices.
- Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and biomedical waste management.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and NABH / JCI compliance activities.
- Investigate outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance to hand hygiene, PPE use, and isolation protocols.
- Maintain infection control records and reports.
- Educate patients, visitors, and staff on infection prevention.
- Support antibiotic stewardship programs and safe clinical practices.
