Job Description

  • Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and explain the procedure when required.
  • Assist gastroenterologists and physicians during endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures.
  • Prepare, check, and maintain endoscopy equipment and instruments.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
  • Administer medications and sedation as prescribed.
  • Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and endoscopy unit protocols.
