Job Description
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and explain the procedure when required.
- Assist gastroenterologists and physicians during endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures.
- Prepare, check, and maintain endoscopy equipment and instruments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications and sedation as prescribed.
- Ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopy equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
- Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and endoscopy unit protocols.
