Job Description
- Prepare patients for EMG tests by explaining the procedure and ensuring proper positioning.
- Assist neurologists during Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies.
- Place electrodes on the patient’s muscles and nerves as per testing protocol.
- Operate EMG machines to record electrical activity of muscles and nerves.
- Monitor patient responses during the test and report any abnormalities.
- Ensure proper calibration, functioning, and maintenance of EMG equipment.
