Core Responsibilities

• Triage & Assessment: Evaluate incoming patients quickly, assign urgency levels, and monitor changing vital signs.
• Life-Saving Care: Perform CPR, manage trauma, start IV lines, and administer emergency medications.
• Clinical Procedures: Clean and dress wounds, apply splints, and assist doctors with urgent medical procedures.
• Documentation & Coordination: Record patient data in electronic health systems and coordinate with the emergency care team. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure & Education: Valid state/national Registered Nurse (RN) license and a Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
