Job Description
- Collect, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ETO (ethylene oxide), and plasma sterilizers.
- Pack and label sterile instruments and maintain proper storage.
- Ensure timely supply of sterile instruments to OT, ICU, wards, and other departments.
- Maintain records of sterilization cycles, logs, and quality checks.
- Monitor and ensure proper functioning of sterilization equipment.
