- Sterilize and decontaminate surgical instruments, medical devices, and equipment.
- Operate and maintain autoclaves, sterilizers, and other CSSD machinery.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, and proper functioning before sterilization.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and infection control protocols.
- Pack, label, and store sterilized instruments for distribution to various hospital departments.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
