Job Description

  • Diagnose and treat kidney-related disorders such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), nephrotic syndrome, and electrolyte imbalances.
  • Manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
  • Supervise dialysis units and ensure adherence to protocols and safety standards.
  • Evaluate patients for kidney transplantation and provide pre- and post-transplant care.
  • Manage renal emergencies including fluid overload, electrolyte imbalance, and hypertensive crises.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as renal function tests, urine analysis, ultrasound, and biopsy reports.
