Job Description
- Perform and interpret microbiological tests including culture, sensitivity, staining, and molecular diagnostics.
- Identify bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections.
- Guide clinicians on appropriate antibiotic therapy based on culture and sensitivity reports.
- Monitor and support hospital infection control programs (HICC).
- Investigate and control hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance in microbiology laboratory processes.
