Job Description
- Perform and interpret endocrine investigations such as hormone assays, glucose tolerance tests, and imaging studies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacological therapy, lifestyle management, and hormone replacement.
- Manage acute endocrine emergencies such as diabetic ketoacidosis, thyroid storm, and adrenal crisis.
- Supervise and mentor junior endocrinologists, residents, and nursing staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nephrology, cardiology, and gynecology for comprehensive care.
- Counsel patients and families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and long-term follow-up.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
