Job Description

1. Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases (MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension).
2. Perform and interpret ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter, and other cardiac investigations.
3. Conduct interventional procedures (angiography, angioplasty, stenting) – if interventional cardiologist.
4. Manage cardiac emergencies and provide advanced life support.
5. Conduct ward rounds and OPD consultations.
6. Coordinate with ICU, Emergency, and Cath Lab teams.
7. Maintain proper documentation and discharge summaries.
8. Counsel patients regarding lifestyle modification and preventive cardiology.
