Job Description
- Diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular diseases (MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension).
- Perform and interpret ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter, and other cardiac investigations.
- Conduct interventional procedures (angiography, angioplasty, stenting) – if interventional cardiologist.
- Manage cardiac emergencies and provide advanced life support.
- Conduct ward rounds and OPD consultations.
- Coordinate with ICU, Emergency, and Cath Lab teams.
- Maintain proper documentation and discharge summaries.
- Counsel patients regarding lifestyle modification and preventive cardiology.
