Job Description

  • Administer anesthesia for adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and congenital procedures.
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and optimize high-risk cardiac patients.
  • Monitor and manage intra-operative hemodynamics, ventilation, and anesthesia depth.
  • Utilize advanced monitoring techniques such as transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and invasive lines.
  • Provide post-operative care in cardiac ICU, including pain management and hemodynamic support.
  • Assist in emergency cardiac procedures and on-call duties.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, perfusionists, and ICU teams for patient safety.
  • Supervise and mentor junior anesthetists, residents, and OT staff.
