X-Ray Technician

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will operate X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams while ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Imaging Equipment:

  - Set up and operate X-ray machines and other diagnostic imaging equipment. 

  - Ensure proper positioning of patients to capture high-quality images. 

• Patient Care:

  - Prepare and guide patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding. 

  - Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns. 

• Image Processing & Analysis: 

  - Capture and process diagnostic images according to physician requests. 

  - Review images for quality and clarity before submitting them to radiologists. 

• Safety Compliance:

  - Follow safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation for patients and staff. 

  - Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. 

• Equipment Maintenance:

  - Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment and report issues promptly. 

  - Ensure equipment is clean and properly calibrated. 

• Documentation:

  - Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient details. 

  - Assist with filing and retrieving X-ray records as needed. 

• Qualifications:

 - Diploma or associate degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. 

 - Certification from an accredited radiologic program (e.g., ARRT certification). 

• Licensure:

 - Valid state license to practice as an X-ray Technician (if applicable). 

• Experience:
