Description

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures on patients as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Prepare patients for X-ray examinations, explaining the procedure, addressing any concerns, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
Position patients correctly on the X-ray table and ensure proper alignment for optimal image quality, while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Operate X-ray equipment to acquire images of the desired anatomical areas, adjusting exposure settings and image processing parameters as needed.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review imaging studies, discuss findings, and ensure accurate interpretation and diagnosis.
Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging protocols, and technical parameters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on X-ray equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and reporting malfunctions as needed.
