Description

Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation to minimize discrepancies.
Receiving & Dispatching: Supervise the receiving of incoming goods and the dispatching of outgoing shipments, ensuring they are handled efficiently and in a timely manner.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment by optimizing storage space and ensuring goods are stored properly to prevent damage.
Stock Control & Record-Keeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all stock movements, using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to track inventory levels.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety protocols, ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, and regularly inspect the warehouse for any hazards.
Team Management: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, assigning tasks, managing schedules, and providing training on warehouse operations and safety practices.
Order Fulfillment: Oversee the picking, packing, and preparation of orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness of shipments to meet customer demands.
Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the usage and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure proper functioning and avoid downtime.
