<ul><li>Provide round-the-clock medical care to inpatients in the ward.</li><li>Monitor patient vitals, progress, and report any deterioration to consultants.</li><li>Administer medications, IV fluids, and carry out treatment orders.</li><li>Perform basic procedures such as catheterization, Ryle’s tube insertion, and wound care.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely patient records and daily progress notes.</li><li>Coordinate with nurses and allied staff to ensure smooth ward operations.</li><li>Handle emergencies promptly and escalate to senior doctors when required.</li><li>Assist in preparing discharge summaries and updating treatment charts.</li><li>Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans and updates.</li></ul>
