Description

Meet with patients to review medical histories, perform physical examinations, and discuss diagnosis and treatment options.
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for cancer patients, incorporating various modalities like chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Oversee the administration of chemotherapy and other systemic therapies, monitoring patients for side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Provide ongoing follow-up care to monitor the patient's response to treatment, manage side effects, and address any emerging issues.
Participate in clinical trials and research studies to contribute to the advancement of cancer treatment.
Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and potential side effects.
In-depth understanding of cancer biology, oncology pharmacology, and treatment modalities.
