Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Urologist to join our team in Kerala. 
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with urinary tract and male reproductive system disorders. 
  • As a Urologist, you will perform surgical procedures, provide consultations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with urological conditions, including but not limited to kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, and incontinence.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and perform physical examinations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, urine tests, ultrasounds, and biopsies.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including cystoscopies, prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and vasectomies, using the latest surgical techniques and technology.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, including monitoring their progress and managing any complications.
  • Educate patients and their families about urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, oncologists, radiologists, and nurses, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in the field of urology through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Kerala, India.
  • Fellowship training in Urology preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Urologist, with a strong track record of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Fluency in English and Malayalam preferred.
