Facilitate small group teaching sessions, tutorials, problem-based learning (PBL) sessions, and case-based discussions for medical students in preclinical and clinical subjects, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine.
Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lectures, presentations, and educational materials using multimedia resources, visual aids, and technology-enhanced learning tools to enhance student understanding and retention of course content.
Provide individualized academic support, guidance, and mentorship to medical students, including clarifying concepts, answering questions, and assisting with exam preparation, study strategies, and time management skills.
Assist in curriculum development, course planning, and assessment design, including developing learning objectives, formulating exam questions, and evaluating student performance using appropriate assessment methods (e.g., written exams, quizzes, practical assessments).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, collaborative learning, and professionalism among medical students, while respecting diversity, cultural differences, and individual learning needs.
Stay updated with advancements in medical education, pedagogical methods, and evidence-based teaching strategies through participation in faculty development programs, workshops, conferences, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.
Collaborate effectively with other faculty members, department chairs, curriculum coordinators, and educational administrators to coordinate teaching activities, integrate interdisciplinary topics, and ensure alignment with educational objectives and accreditation standards.
