Description

Patent and Intellectual Property Management: Evaluate and manage the protection of intellectual property (IP), including patents, trademarks, and copyrights, for innovations developed within the organization.
Licensing Agreements: Develop, negotiate, and execute licensing agreements to enable the transfer of technology to industry partners, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with legal standards.
Research and Innovation Evaluation: Assess the commercial potential of new technologies, innovations, or research results by analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and potential industry applications.
Collaboration with Researchers: Work closely with scientists, engineers, and researchers to identify inventions and assist in the documentation and disclosure of innovations.
Industry Outreach and Networking: Build and maintain relationships with companies, investors, and industry stakeholders to create opportunities for technology commercialization and partnership development.
Technology Marketing: Create marketing materials, presentations, and technology summaries to promote available technologies to potential licensees or investors.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions for research agreements, material transfer agreements, and other contracts related to the technology transfer process.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with governmental and institutional policies on technology transfer, including maintaining accurate records and reporting to funding agencies and stakeholders.
